  Its not just GPS that get abuse its shop workers when someone can't get their favorite beer, it's bus drivers cause they are running 10 minutes late, it's so many people filled with entitlement and anger. Over the last 10 years things have shifted in the UK for the absolute worst. There's never an excuse for abuse. Kay Fogg T hat is the same for medics Kay , they are all human, fret and worry is the same for them. It will be awful if the NHS was not their any more, where would we all be, best for all to try and keep calm, so they can carry on rather than leave the job.regsrds. There's a lot of people on here justifying abusive behaviour. There is never any excuse for it under any circumstances and the GP, receptionist, nurse or whoever has the right to hang up or end the conversation the moment someone becomes abusive. The NHS has been hit by staff shortages as much as other sectors and taking it out on those who do choose to work for the benefit of our society helps nobody and may even push someone over the edge so that's another vacancy created.
