 Paige Hamilton Yet vets aren't like that at all, as a human nurse I feared ever going under the knife, as a veterinary nurse I'd trust any vet with my life not so sure I could be as confident in all NHS surgeons too many negligence cases, cock ups, cover ups and instruments/swabs left in people not helped by my own experiences where no ambulance arrived at all when I broke my leg, the hospital marked up the wrong leg to be x rayed, showed me someone else's X rays and had got someone else's medical notes.

 More than likely NHS waiting lists will become that next political hot potato as covid, hopefully, recedes. I had to travel out of area for a procedure on Monday and was happy, and grateful, to do so. I realise that all may not be able to do this and I appreciate that but I do think it would be helpful for those who can in aid of reducing lists and waiting times. When I had my bone marrow transplant I was facing a month in hospital but they offered ambulatory care. As long as I had someone with me 24/7 I could go into the hospital in the morning but spend nights at a nearby hotel. I had emergency numbers to call and felt supported by specialist nurses.  Stop that and there's the money for doctors nurses or even a new hospital or two, what's the old saying " a fool and his money are soon parted" sound like this government, and to add insult to injury all the Lords and PM in government have just given them selves a massive pay rise, as said by Sir Bernard Jenkins in our local paper. David Cant absolutely but the most prevalent health issue [cormobidity] was diabetes,and we can see from the photo the man was Obese,[obesity isn't listed as comorbidity]. I have no doubt his self-induced diabetes caused by his unhealthy lifestyle killed him.   Andrew Heater, we are seeing more and more dolphins on our coast and more seals, so it's not unusual to have one washed ashore dead, that is also nature, and by the way conger eels are landed for a decent price, you should better think about all the commercial fish that has to be dumped because not allowed to land due to the green idiots who forced the fishermen to bring undersized live fish to the shore instead of letting them back into the sea and survive and breed. That is how smart green people are.Its a question of greed and looking at this problem thoughtfully. Ok you use a super trawler to fish. You rake the seabottom, kill everything there. In time there will be nothing there to catch. Stop this practise now. Sorry but if fishermen themselves or the governments involved can't get some better control, then I go with Greenpeace on this one.
