 I think we need to acknowledge that Justin was used too. I feel so much for poor Britney, she’s just never had the right people in her life that care about her past the paycheque. That care about her in any meaningful way. It’s going to sound stupid... but do we recall the South Park Britney episode? It does really sum it up in its own weird way... I hope there is some light at the end of this seemingly unending tunnel for her, she deserves it. I’ll always remember a Smash Hits magazine article I read as a teenager where they made a map of the UK out of Britney’s spots on her cheek. Even as a teen I thought ‘my god this is cruel’.

  I was crying and in a distressed state, and a gentleman on the way that I saw approached me to check I was ok and said he would walk me home. I felt like I couldn’t say no, and luckily for my sake he was one of the good ones and actually did walk me to my door and then leave without hurting me. Looking back, that could have so easily ended up differently. In hindsight I wasn’t in the right frame of mine to be going out and partying because that’s something I would never do now. I just feel so much for the women who have no choice but to walk places alone frequently, because it must be so draining on a regular basis.
