The book tells the story of the Lewis and and Clark expedition in a new way: through the maps the explorers used and made. The maps present a mix of new information about the nation. Ralph E. Ehrenberg, chief of the Library’s Geography and Map Division, and his co-author, Smithsonian Institution curator emeritus Herman J. Viola, retrace the expedition with more than 100 images reproduced in exquisite detail. The Library of Congress, the nation's first-established federal cultural institution and the largest library in the world, holds more than 160 million items in various languages, disciplines and formats.

 The west has imposed sanctions on Putin and Putin has done the same, these sanctions seems to be less consequential to the general view but they have serious diplomatic implications only to be understood by the people involved, how I wish United Nations can do more in finding solution to the stand off between Russia and the westerner block because by the end of the day all of these sanctions are affecting innocent people across the world.  The idea was to create an interactive extension to their spring 2021 video and collection, which featured a fantastical farm world filled with animated 3D flower models and moving natural landscapes. For the video game, which they’re calling “Collinaland,” Taymour and Engman, along with multimedia artist Freeka Tet, dreamed up a farm world, an underwater world, a self-expressive world, and an ice world, all inhabited by plants and animals and, of course, video game characters: real models that the team digitally scanned so as to bring human beings into the virtual world, rather than create avatars from scratch.
